well yeah no so shit, you downloaded it so many times, especially the entire repository, which has 2 more cheats for CSGO, obviously more false positives
1st of all i downloaded once and got many trojans try attack, second of all i doubt false posotives would be attacking this hard and on top of that slowing my PC down

No, this is normal thing, this is because cheats and malwares share a lot of common techniques, this is why here we test every file
okay thank you for explaining that

I understand that downloading the entire repository (which contains 2 additional CSGO cheats) multiple times could trigger false positives from antivirus software.

However, I've noticed some questionable behaviors with PassatHook that I'd like clarified. I'm not making accusations, but I want to understand what's happening:

Concerning Behaviors Upon Installation:

  1. A terminal opened with an "Online or Offline" selection prompt
  2. Windows toolkits (GPU View, Windows Performance Analyzer, Windows Performance Recorder, etc.) were installed without user approval
  3. Malware cache appeared in my default browser immediately after download

My Questions:

  • Can you explain why these actions occur automatically?
  • Would you be willing to share the source code? (I'm also curious about your reverse engineering methods for CS2/CS:GO)
  • Are there alternative download sources since your GitHub was taken down?

My Understanding:

I recognize that antivirus software typically flags cheat software as malware/trojans by default. From my analysis, this doesn't appear to be a traditional trojan, but it operates stealthily with heavy obfuscation. I'm trying to determine whether these detections are standard false positives or if there's actual spyware/parasitic behavior occurring.

Heavy obfuscation is what gives it the malware like execution. If you want updated links for PassatHook, here they are:
Password: #unbanjannes

The repository that got flagged on GitHub was the "CSGO-Cheats" repository, where a DLL got flagged as a RAT.

PassatHook has and will continue to be a free cheat with NO PAY WALL behind it. I do not earn or make ANY MONEY from it, nor do I wish to do so.

I kinda abandoned the project due to lack of motivation and people disrespecting me (other cheaters/pasters) for making such software.

Also to answer your questions:
1. Heavy obfuscations by VMP and string encryption, including opening handles to the game, reading the game's memory, and also having a Discord RPC.
2. The source contains a lot of private unused (mainly features and optimizations) code which I'd rather not share, as I either ported them to my new software, or it's a precious code of mine that I don't want to share.
3. I've stated them above.

If you want to take a look at the source live on screen share with me on Discord, I'll gladly do it 😝. "jannesbonk" is my name.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and share that link—I really appreciate it. I've actually been interested in creating my own CS2 cheat for quite some time now, for a couple of reasons. First, I think it would be a genuinely cool learning experience to understand the technical aspects behind how these tools work, from memory manipulation to pattern scanning and injection techniques. Second, and perhaps more importantly, I have significant trust concerns when it comes to downloading random .exe files from forums, especially in this space where malware and RATs are unfortunately common.

I'm pretty decently knowledgeable in C/C++, Python, TypeScript, and similar languages, so I have a solid programming foundation to work from. The challenge for me isn't necessarily the coding itself, but rather understanding the specific techniques and approaches used in game hacking—things like external vs. internal cheats, how to bypass anti-cheat systems, proper offset management, and the overall architecture that makes these projects work reliably.

If you have any resources, guides, or advice for someone looking to get started with CS2 cheat development from scratch, I'd be extremely grateful. I'm committed to learning this properly rather than just downloading something I can't verify or trust.
